Party is not the property of ex-president Almazbek Atambayev. It was announced at a party conference of SDPK without Atambayev movement, which was held today in Oktyabrsky district of Bishkek.
According to the leader of the movement Sagynbek Abdrakhmanov, there is no split in the political organization. There is a party, there are supporters of Almazbek Atambayev, there are opponents who disagree with the course that the first ones follow.
«We officially invite the former president of the country Almazbek Atambayev, the deputy of the Parliament Irina Karamushkina, Farid Niyazov to the congress, which we will hold in the near future. Let Almazbek Atambayev prove that he deserves to be the leader of SDPK. But he will not come. And we will still discuss the issue of his expulsion from the party and will put the issue to vote,» said Sagynbek Abdrakhmanov.
The final Bishkek city party conference will take place till the end of the year. SDPK without Atambayev movement will hold its congress in early January.
