Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan, Adilet Orozbekov, participated in a meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Council, which took place on May 26 in Moscow. The presidential press service reported.
During the meeting, representatives of the Collective Security Treaty Organization countries discussed current threats, regional security issues, and further cooperation within the CSTO.
Orozbekov stated that Kyrgyzstan views current risks exclusively through the collective security system.
According to him, CSTO countries need to strengthen cooperation between intelligence agencies, law enforcement, and military structures, improve the exchange of operational information, and jointly counter cyber threats and information-psychological influence.
Special attention was paid to preventing youth radicalization and combating extremist ideology.
Following the meeting, the participants signed a number of documents in preparation for the next session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, which will be held this fall.
