Ten social institutions of Kyrgyzstan to get 250,000 soms each

Ten residential social institutions of Kyrgyzstan will receive 250,000 soms each, allocated by the president for the provision of material assistance. Press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reported.

Sooronbai Jeenbekov allocated 5 million soms from his reserve fund. The money was divided between the Ministry of Labor and Social Development and the Ministry of Education and Science. The assistance is timed to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The money will be transferred to the following organizations:

  • Nizhniaya-Serafimovka Social Residential Institution for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities;
  • Jaiyl Women’s Psychoneurological Social Residential Institution;
  • Ak-Suu Women’s Psychoneurological Social Residential Institution;
  • Tokmak Men’s Psychoneurological Social Residential Institution 1;
  • Tokmak Mixed Psychoneurological Social Residential Institution 2;
  • Kadamdzhay Mixed Psychoneurological Social Residential Institution;
  • Pokrovka Mixed Psychoneurological Social Residential Institution;
  • Belovodskoye Children’s Psychoneurological Social Residential Institution;
  • Jalal-Abad Children’s Psychoneurological Social Residential Institution;
  • Sokuluk Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities, including children with disabilities.

The ministry noted that beds, wardrobes, dressers, tables, chairs, kitchen equipment and blinds will be purchased for the institutions.
