Insurance company refuses to pay indemnity for crashed military helicopter

Insurance company has refused to pay insurance indemnity for a military helicopter that crashed in Kyrgyzstan. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.

It is known that the helicopter was insured for $900,000. Ak-Sai Travel company took payment of the money upon itself.

The press service of the General Staff is not available for comment.

Recall, on July 9, Mi-8 MTV military helicopter crashed in the mountains of Southern Enilchek. According to the General Staff, the incident occurred during a rescue operation. Because of the strong side wind, the helicopter fell on its left side during landing. As a result, six people were injured — three soldiers and three tourists. The military prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case.
