The police of Kara-Suu district check the donkey farm in Mady village. The deputy of the Parliament Tynchtyk Shainazarov informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the materials have already arrived and a criminal case has to be instituted under a number of articles of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, including cruel treatment of animals. «The day before, the police tried to enter the farm, but the leadership did not let them in, saying that this was a private property and the territory was under protection,» said Tynchtyk Shainazarov.
Up to 3,000 animals are bred on the donkey farm. The carcasses of dead donkeys are thrown into an open pit and are not disposed properly.
