Athletes from Kyrgyzstan won five gold medals at the 21st International Tournament for prizes of the Olympic Champion Tatyana Kolpakova. The Track and Field Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The competition took place on June 16-17 in Bishkek. Athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participated in it. The national team won five gold, six silver and six bronze medals.
Darya Maslova took the 1st place among the women at a distance of 5,000 meters. Anna Bulanova was the best in the long jump.
Musulman Dzholomanov took the 1st place among the men in 800 and 1500 meters races, and Adilet Kyshtakbekov — at a distance of 10,000 meters.
A week earlier, Kyrgyz athletes successfully performed at a tournament in Uzbekistan.
