Speaker of Kazakh Majilis comments on statements of Almazbek Atambayev

The Speaker of the Majilis Nurlan Nigmatulin commented on the statements of Almazbek Atambayev. This was reported by Kazakh media.

«Nursultan Abishevich like any other head of state always supports and helps the people of Kyrgyzstan. I know that the people of Kyrgyzstan always treat the leader of Kazakhstan with warmth and gratitude. Therefore, all these «empty», populist and irresponsible statements of Atambayev will never be able to harm fraternal relations between our peoples,» Nurlan Nigmatulin said.

He also commented on the work of Almazbek Atambayev as president of Kyrgyzstan.

«As for Atambayev himself, it is obvious to everyone that during the years of the presidency he couldn’t achieve a single result either in the economy or in politics. Leaving, he also demonstrated the complete absence of political and even internal culture,» Nigmatulin added.

Recall, last week Almazbek Atambayev told at the meeting of the National Council for Sustainable Development who actually disintegrates the EEU, and stated that he would not apologize to the head of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
