India learns about tourism opportunities of Kyrgyzstan

New Delhi hosts the 37th annual international trade exhibition India International Trade Fair 2017, where the stand about tourism opportunities of Kyrgyzstan was presented, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to it, Kyrgyzstan presented a wide range of export-oriented products of agriculture, folk-applied art, hand-made products and textile industry.

In addition to tourism opportunities, the thematic pavilions of the Digital Transformation Program of the KR «Taza Koom», the World Nomad Games, the role of the snow leopard ecosystem and its conservation in Kyrgyzstan are presented at the exhibition.

The main guest of the event was the President and the First Lady of India.

Kyrgyzstan has been participating in this exhibition since 2014, having started from one pavilion, this year it presents goods and services on 90 square meters of exhibition space. Kyrgyzstan was chosen as a focus country for the first time.

It is reported that over 220 international companies from Great Britain, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Thailand, Turkey and other countries take part in the exposition.

It is expected that for two weeks of the international exhibition more than a million people will visit it.
