Advisor to Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan appointed

Murad Omoev was appointed Advisor to the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan. Information Support Department of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Murad Omoev was born on June 20, 1979 in Tokmok town.

In 1999, he got bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration at Graceland College, Iowa, USA.

In 2004, he continued his studies at the University of Columbia (New York).

Since 2012, he has been an economist at the European Department of the International Monetary Fund.

At IMF he was responsible for analyzing fiscal and monetary policies, analyzing vulnerability from external factors in emerging markets and structural problems of labor markets in several countries of Eastern Europe.

He is the laureate of the IMF team award for an innovative study on the impact of fiscal policy on economic growth, the press service added.
