Uzbekistan ready to buy Kyrgyz cheeses and potatoes

Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Artem Novikov told reporters what goods Uzbekistan is ready to buy from our country.

According to him, on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev, the government is working on alternative markets for the sale of goods due to problems on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border.

«Yesterday several bilateral contracts were signed in Tashkent. In the near future we will prepare a business dialogue with Uzbek partners so that entrepreneurs can present our products and find partners. The issue is also being studied with the Chinese side,» Artem Novikov said.

He added that Kyrgyzstan is ready to offer Uzbekistan and China potatoes, dairy products, including cheeses, building stone, coal.
