62-year-old retiree becomes another candidate for presidency in Kyrgyzstan

62-year-old pensioner — Kazybek Shaiymbetov becomes another candidate for the presidency in Kyrgyzstan. CEC website reports.

Kazybek Shaiymbetov is a native of Bostery village of Issyk-Kul region. Previously, he worked as the General Director of the State Residence No. 2 in Cholpon-Ata. He was also the leader of the public association Eldik Kairat and was a member of Lustration association.

Thus, the CEC received applications for the participation in election from 33 self-nominated candidates and 9 representatives of parties. Another party member, Kanatbek Isaev, will submit documents in the near future.

The presidential elections will be held in Kyrgyzstan on October 15, 2017.
