Chief Sanitary Doctor of Russia arrives in Kyrgyzstan

Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov met with the chief state sanitary doctor of Russia Anna Popova.

One of the goals of her visit to the Kyrgyz Republic is to implement a joint project aimed at countering the spread of plague.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation in the sphere of ensuring sanitary and epidemiological welfare.

The agreement between the Ministry of Health of the KR and the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare of the Russian Federation on cooperation to ensure epidemiological welfare of the plague was signed on June 20, 2017, following the talks between the presidents of the two countries.
