More than 40 families in Uzgen district refuse to move from landslide-prone areas. Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov said this at a press conference.
«They do not resettle, although they have received plots in other areas. But they can not live there, and we plan to resettle them after negotiations, because landslides can happen again next year," the minister said.
