The Kyrgyz government is hampering the construction of small hydropower plants and does not allow investors to invest in these projects. The deputy Kubanychbek Nurmatov said this today at the session of Parliament.
According to him,
«Projects on construction of small hydropower plants can not be implemented. This is related to tendering. The state should allocate funds for holding tenders. We must provide all conditions for investors, and not to demand holding of tenders from them. If an investor comes with money and we force him to participate in the tender, then we must have a project ready and funds for its implementation in order to give the construction to the relevant companies," Kubanychbek Nurmatov said.
