Head of the MES elected chairman of the Executive Council of ICDO

Minister of Emergency Situations Kubatbek Boronov was elected Chairman of the Executive Council of the International Civil Defense Organization, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to it, on May 8, the 50^th anniversary session of the ICDO Executive Council was held in Geneva. Kubatbek Boronov was unanimously elected for a two-year period.

Note, the Executive Council adopts and implements decisions for which the General Assembly of ICDO voted. It includes representatives of 22 states.
