School students, cadets to join 'Immortal Regiment' march in Bishkek

Students of city schools and cadets of the Military College named after D. Asanov will join 'Immortal Regiment' march. Deputy Chairwoman of Bishkek City Council Valentina Lisnichenko told today at a press conference.

According to her, there are a lot of people wishing to take part in the march. The expected number of participants is 20,000–30,000 people. «I will not disclose all the secrets, but we prepare many surprises. And veterans of the Great Patriotic War will participate in it only if the weather is fine. They will move by car," she said.

According to the Bishkek mayor’s office, the march will be held on May 9. It will begin at 9.00. Participants will move from the South Gate of Bishkek along Baitik Baatyr Street to Victory Square.
