Landslide in Osh region blocks road for 250 families

A landslide in Uzgen district of Osh region blocked the road for 250 families. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to it, a landslide with the volume of 22, 400 cubic meters descended in Tokto area of Jangak village on April 8 at 5.00 a.m. On the morning of April 9, another 650,000 cubic meters of soil came down at the same place, blocking the on-farm road leading to the place where 250 families live.

On April 9, the Ministry of Emergency Situations began building a detour road, and on April 10 — clearing the rubble.
