Ambassadors Bolot Otunbayev, Daniyar Mukashev obtain additional posts

Diplomats Bolot Otunbayev and Daniyar Mukashev obtained the posts of Ambassadors as second job. The decision was made today at a meeting of the Committee of Parliament on International Affairs, Defense and Security.

Bolot Otunbayev became Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Finland in combination with his post in the residence in Moscow (Russia).

Daniyar Mukashev will become Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Italy in conjunction with his work in Geneva (Switzerland).

In addition, Foreign Affairs Minister of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev made a report on the results of work in 2016 at the meeting of the committee. He noted that the year was full of foreign policy events, numerous bilateral visits were worked out at various levels.

«The main among them were the trips of the President of Kyrgyzstan to Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, as well as official visits to Georgia and India. In addition, the leadership of some states and international organizations paid their visits to the Kyrgyz Republic. Official visits of the German Chancellor and the President of Iran were among them. There is further strengthening of inter-parliamentary cooperation of Kyrgyzstan in the CIS area, in the western and eastern directions," Erlan Abdyldaev noted.
