UK urged to invest in energy and tourism of Kyrgyzstan

The Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kozhoshev during the Kyrgyz-British business forum urged the UK to invest in the priority areas, such as energy, tourism, and development of information technologies. Press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to Arzybek Kozhoshev, Kyrgyzstan is actively working to improve quite a favorable investment climate, expands market outlets and facilitates access to them. «Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to development of friendly, economic and trade relations with the United Kingdom," he said.

In 2016, the trade turnover between the countries amounted to $ 41.2 million, exports increased 17.8 times. Export volume growth was reached thanks to gold supplies.
