 Congress Hall with 800 seats to be built in Karakol city

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, during a working trip to Issyk-Kul region, got acquainted with the reconstruction of the park named after Alexander Pushkin in Karakol, as well as with the projects that are planned to be implemented in the city. Among them are the construction of a modern Congress Hall with a theater hall for 800 seats, a new heating and power plant, an international-level sports complex and the reconstruction of a history museum.

The Alexander Pushkin Park covers an area of ​​7.5 hectares. During the reconstruction, an administrative building and an amphitheater were built there, eight modern amusement rides were installed, including a Ferris wheel and a roller coaster, a cascade and dry fountains, a children’s playground and a skate park were installed.

Also in the park, new pedestrian paths were laid, parking areas were arranged, landscaping was carried out, an automatic watering system and outdoor lighting were installed.

In addition to reconstruction of the park, the president was presented with several infrastructure projects that are planned to be implemented in Karakol.

These include the construction of a heating and power plant, major repairs and reconstruction of 22 kilometers of city roads with lighting and drainage systems, major reconstruction and restoration of the city history museum, construction of a multifunctional sports complex with international-level halls, as well as renovation of the educational building and construction of an additional building for the regional boarding school named after Toktogul Satylganov.

Separately, the head of state was presented with a master plan for the construction of the Congress Hall. The project involves the construction of a modern complex with a total area of ​​more than 14,800 square meters, which will unite cultural, entertainment and administrative and business zones.

According to the project, the building will house a large theater hall with 800 seats for performances, concerts and other cultural events, as well as a conference center designed to host international forums, conferences and state-level events.

After inspecting the facilities, Sadyr Japarov noted the importance of the comprehensive development of Karakol, the creation of modern public spaces and new social and cultural infrastructure.
