Swimmer Vladislav Shuliko continues the flag relay for the F1H2O World Powerboat Racing Championships (UIM F1H2O) — Kyrgyzstan Grand Prix. Issyk-Kul 2026 — by swimming across Kyrgyzstan’s largest bodies of water.
According to the Secretariat of the World Nomad Games, the athlete has completed six swims in six regions of the country to date:
- Tortkul reservoir, Batken region;
- Papan reservoir, Osh region;
- Toktogul reservoir, Jalal-Abad region;
- Kirov reservoir, Talas region;
- Ala-Archa reservoir, Chui region;
- Kel-Suu Lake, Naryn region.
According to the event organizers, each stage is part of the preparation for the F1H2O World Championship in Issyk-Kul region. The route covers all regions of the country and aims to promote sports and a healthy lifestyle, as well as develop Kyrgyzstan’s tourism potential.
The final stop will be the championship opening ceremony on Issyk-Kul Lake, where the flag will be ceremoniously raised over the race track.
For the first time in Central Asian history, Kyrgyzstan will host a stage of the UIM F1H2O World Championship— Kyrgyzstan Grand Prix. Issyk-Kul 2026. From July 31 to August 2, Issyk-Kul Lake will host this international sporting event, bringing together the world’s strongest powerboating teams and pilots.
