Hourly payment system introduced at municipal parking lot in Bishkek

A pilot project introducing an hourly payment system has been launched at a municipal parking lot near Victory Square in Bishkek.

According to the City Hall, the new system is being tested at the parking area on the eastern side of Shopokov Street, between the One Group shopping center and Victory Square. The facility has a capacity of 95 parking spaces and operates 24/7.

During the trial period, the following tariffs apply:

• First 15 minutes — free of charge
• First two hours — 50 soms
• Each additional hour — 10 soms.

City authorities said that, following the pilot phase, they will analyze the effectiveness of the new system and prepare proposals to further improve the organization of municipal parking services in Bishkek.
