Kyrgyzkomur Deputy Director fired for financial violations

Talant Skanderbekov, Deputy General Director of Kyrgyzkomur OJSC, has been fired for financial violations at Kara-Keche branch amounting to 24.9 million soms. The joint-stock company announced.

According to the company, an internal audit revealed gross violations of cash discipline at the Kara-Keche branch.

At the end of 2025, five employees of the branch had fictitious accounts receivable totaling 24,924,722.59 soms.

To circumvent the official ban on cash handling (introduced on April 1, 2025), management issued the entire amount to these employees as advance payments on the day the cash register closed. They failed to submit any advance reports by the end of the year, and the million-dollar debt remained unpaid.

The Department of the State Committee for National Security for Naryn region has opened a criminal case for inflating the volume of stripping works at Kara-Keche by more than 50 million soms.

All violations occurred during the period when Talant Skanderbekov, who later became Deputy General Director of Kyrgyzkomur OJSC, managed the Kara-Keche branch.

Based on the audit report of June 3, 2026, an order was signed dismissing Skanderbekov, effective June 25.

The grounds for this were a single, gross violation of his job responsibilities and unsatisfactory results during the probationary period. Skanderbekov himself read the order but indicated in writing that he disagreed with the decision.

The audit materials were submitted to the authorized bodies for a final legal assessment. Kyrgyzkomur OJSC continues to strengthen financial controls and transparency.
