Parliament approved the candidacy of Almaz Kalybaev for the post of judge of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic. The decision was made at a session of the Zhogorku Kenesh.
As Bektur Zulpiev, Permanent Representative of the President and Cabinet of Ministers to the Zhogorku Kenesh, noted, Almaz Kalybaev was born in 1976 and is an experienced lawyer.
Since March 2025, he has served as a judge of the Zhaiyl District Court of Chui region.
Deputies supported his candidacy, citing his extensive experience.
Almaz Kalybaev has taken the oath of office.
