Winners of Quran recitation competition awarded cars

The national Quran recitation competition dedicated to the memory of former mufti Chubak azhy Zhalilov concluded in the city of Manas.

The winners in the three main categories received top prizes — cars:

• In the 10 para category, first place went to Ukash Zhamaldinov, who was awarded the keys to a Chevrolet Spark.
• In the 20 para category, Musa Mirbekov became the winner and received a Hyundai Avante.
• In the 30 para category (memorization of the entire Quran), Davud Abdykadirov took first place, winning a Toyota Venza crossover.

Other prize-winners and participants received cash awards, trips to the minor pilgrimage (Umrah), as well as certificates and letters of appreciation. The awards were presented by the Mufti of Kyrgyzstan, Abdulaziz kary Zakirov, and the Chairman of the Ulema Council, Zamir kary Rakiev.

In his remarks, the mufti emphasized the special importance of such competitions for educating the younger generation, noting that serving the sacred text is a noble pursuit.

Zamir kary Rakiev, in turn, called on compatriots not only to memorize the Quran but also to embody its principles in their daily lives and behavior.
