Capsule laid at construction site of Manas trade and logistics town

The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov took part in the ceremony of laying a capsule at the construction site of a large investment project Manas Trade and Logistics Town. The Cabinet of Ministers reported.

The project is expected to be implemented on an area of ​​700 hectares. It involves creation of 30,000 retail outlets and will attract investments of $4.2 billion. The first stage of construction will cost $700 million.

The event was also attended by the Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen.

Akylbek Japarov noted that the project will become a key logistics center capable of competing in importance with the world’s largest ports, and opens up new opportunities for attracting investment, expanding trade ties, creating jobs and improving conditions for export.
