Toktogon Altybasarova's 100th anniversary: Monument unveiled in Tyup district

A historical exposition dedicated to the Hero of Labor Toktogon Altybasarova was unveiled in Ak-Bulun village, Tyup district. The Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The start of the solemn event was the unveiling of the monument to Toktogon Altybasarova with laying of wreaths and a minute of silence, after which a prayer was read.

During the event, the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Baktybek Bekbolotov made a speech to the guests and noted the great contribution of Toktogon Altybasarova, who took into her care 150 evacuated children from besieged Leningrad during the Great Patriotic War.

The event ended with a concert program.
