The State Property Management Agency handed over to state bodies two cars that used to belong to the crime boss Kamchi Kolbaev (Kamchybek Asanbek). The press service of the agency confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
The cars are Kia Rio X-Line, manufactured in 2019, worth 1.15 million soms and Mercedes-Benz S600, made in 2017, worth 25.5 million soms, respectively. The cars were transferred into the ownership of the state by the family of the liquidated leader of the organized crime group. Earlier, the state tried to sell them twice, but then the idea was abandoned.
«Kia Rio X-Line was transferred to the State Committee for National Security, and Mercedes-Benz S600 — to the Department of Presidential Affairs and the Cabinet of Ministers,» the state agency reported.
Four more cars belonging to Kamchi Kolbaev were put up for auction for the third time.
