Sadyr Japarov hands over two sets of mobile hospitals from China to MES

A solemn ceremony of handing over mobile hospitals to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) took place in Bishkek. The event was held with the participation of the President Sadyr Japarov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Kyrgyz Republic Du Dewen. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

Within the framework of the project, Kyrgyzstan was provided with two sets of mobile hospitals, which consist of 38 special medical vehicles and other component equipment.

«The project will make it possible to deploy a polyfunctional system of rapid response medical complex to work in emergency situations and provide emergency medical assistance to citizens in hard-to-reach settlements,» the statement says.

The project was implemented thanks to the grant assistance of the PRC government within the framework of technical and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China.

Grant assistance from the People’s Republic of China is provided through technical and economic cooperation under an agreement between the governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and the People’s Republic of China. In order to implement this agreement, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China have been designated as authorized bodies in joint coordination of bilateral technical and economic partnership.

The main implementing agency for the Mobile Hospital Project is the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
