150 bloggers and journalists from UAE arrive in Kyrgyzstan

At least 150 bloggers, journalists and travelers arrived in Kyrgyzstan from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Department of Tourism reported.

The department is conducting a large-scale information campaign called «Get Lost to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan».

The delegation of 150 people includes:

— 30 well-known bloggers/influencers in the UAE;

— 5 media representatives;

— 5 participants from key stakeholders from the UAE tourism sector, tourism business environment and aviation;

— 50 participants who will be selected as winners of the corresponding Wizz Air Abu Dhabi competition through active use of social media;

— Popular travelers.

As part of the information campaign, news, posts and videos about the nature and culture of Kyrgyzstan will be published on social media and the media of the United Arab Emirates. The main concept of the campaign is to raise awareness in the UAE and the Gulf region about the Kyrgyz Republic as a tourist destination.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi previously conducted two similar information campaigns in Georgia and Saudi Arabia, where they were successful and significantly influenced the increase in the flow of tourists from the UAE to these countries.
