It is necessary to pay a duty, if a declarant indicates the value of his or her property and assets in the amount of over 100 million soms during legalization of assets. Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Ainura Usenbekova announced at press conference.
According to her, the duty will amount to 1 million soms in this case. At the same time, when filing a declaration, a person will not be asked about the sources of acquisition or disposal of assets. He or she also does not have to pay taxes.
«We guarantee anonymity and security as much as possible, that after legalization, law enforcement or other state bodies will not prosecute the declarant. This is also why they destroy previous declarations. The law provides responsibility not for declarants, but for those who disseminated information about them,» Ainura Usenbekova said.
