Two of the five defendants in Keremet Bank case compensated damages in the amount of 2 million soms. The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek informed 24.kg news agency.
By the verdict of the district court the two men were found guilty of committing a crime under Article 337 «Abuse of official position» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The court fined each of them 1 million soms. The measure of restraint for the accused was changed to a written undertaking not to leave the city, they were released from custody in the courtroom.
According to open data, one of the men is the former Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Bank Nurbek Zhenish, and the other is ex-member of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Sagyndykov.
