The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) detained three women — members of the religious extremist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami. Press center of the state committee reported.
SCNS officers revealed the underground activities of the so-called women’s wing of the banned organization. They carried out illegal activities to spread extremist ideology and involve new supporters in it.
Based on the results of investigative measures, three women, defendants in the criminal case, were placed in the temporary detention center of the SCNS.
