President Sadyr Japarov signed a law ratifying the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of Ghana on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and service passports.
The agreement was signed on March 16, 2026, in Bishkek. It provides for mutual visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic and service passports of the two countries.
According to the law, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic should notify the Ghanaian side of the completion by Kyrgyzstan of all domestic procedures required for the agreement to enter into force.
The law will enter into force in ten days after its official publication.
