«Implementation of joint projects in the field of energy, subsoil use, logistics will step up the pace of integration,» Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, said on Friday at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Almaty (Kazakhstan).
According to him, there is a clear understanding that in the near future the role of digital technologies in the life of states and people will only increase. There are already technologies that can help the people, and will subsequently replace them in some areas. These are mechanical engineering, medicine, agriculture, biotechnology, microelectronics, and public administration. The use of technology and artificial intelligence will be a special advantage and will reduce the cost of production, improve its quality, and make it competitive in the global market.
«In this regard, we need to increase cooperation in this priority area. The possibilities of our cooperation are multifaceted. We believe that our cooperation should not be limited to industry. It should be multifaceted and targeted, including at other sectors of the economy,» Akylbek Japarov stressed.
