Kyrgyz delegation participates in meeting of Hun-Turkic peoples in Hungary

Kurultai of Hun-Turkic peoples was held in Hungary on August 12 through August 14. Kyrgyzstan was represented at the meeting by a delegation of 30 athletes and cultural figures. The press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The kurultai was attended by representatives of Turkic organizations from Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Mongolia and Russia. Archaeological and anthropological treasures of the Sarmatians, Avars and Huns were presented there, as well as the world’s largest portable yurt named after Atilla.
