A large batch of insulin will be delivered by July 30. The Acting Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Zharkynbek Kasymbekov told at a press conference.
According to him, the delivery issue has already been resolved.
«We had such problems until the middle of the year. To date, we have managed to solve them and speed up the delivery time,» Zharkynbek Kasymbekov told.
He assured that all regions of the republic would be provided with the necessary amount of insulin by the end of the year.
Previously, Kyrgyzstanis suffering from diabetes complained about the lack of insulin. A small batch arrived on July 1, a large supply was promised by the end of the month.
Problems with supply of insulin began in March. In May, patients began to complain about the lack of the medication. The Ministry of Health explained the delay in delivery by an increase in the delivery time by the plant itself and failure of a tender in February.
