Leader of Ata Meken party, Omurbek Tekebaev, was attacked by unknown people in Bishkek. Member of the political organization Isken Afidzhanov told 24.kg news agency.
«Omurbek Tekebaev was attacked by masked men in the area of Consul restaurant,» he posted on social media.
«Omurbek Tekebaev’s glasses were broken, his phone was taken away,» Isken Afidzhanov said.
The Interior Ministry has not yet commented on the incident.
