Patients with chronic hepatitis demand meeting with president

Patients with chronic hepatitis held another rally near the Government House in Bishkek. They demanded a meeting with the President Sadyr Japarov.

Citizens held another protest on November 12.

According to them, the state does not pay due attention to citizens suffering from this disease.

«We still demand to open a state pharmacy in Kyrgyzstan, where hepatitis medicines would be sold at a low price. We take smuggled medicines now. We also ask you to launch Fibroscan device, which is available in the Infectious Diseases Hospital. Due to the fact that it is not launched, we have to be examined in private clinics that is very expensive. In addition, please vaccinate people against hepatitis and develop a treatment course. Set a single price for it,» one of the protesters, Gulbu Bechelova, said.

She added that the protesters were waiting for a meeting with the head of state.
