President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed the criminal codes, which he had previously returned to the Parliament for revision. Press service of the head of state reported.
The President of Kyrgyzstan signed the Criminal Code, the Code of Offenses, the Criminal Procedure Code and the law on the enactment of the criminal codes.
In September, Sadyr Japarov returned to the Parliament the drafts of the new Criminal, Criminal Procedure Codes and the Code of Offenses. In particular, he believes that the article «Domestic violence» should be finalized. An objection to the law on the introduction of the Criminal Code, the Criminal Procedure Code and the Code of Offenses was also sent to the deputies. The laws come into force within 15 days from the date of their signing by the President. They were supposed to take effect on September 1.
