According to the organization, the Prosecutor General’s Office, after considering the statement of the ex-owner of the publishing house Alexander Kim about the raider seizure by Alexander Ryabushkin of Vecherniy Bishkek holding in 2014, opened a criminal case on abuse of official position and fraud charges of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Interior Ministry investigates the case. The criminal case against Alexander Kim will be reviewed in court. The hearing is scheduled for September 14.
Recall, Alexander Kim got six years of suspended sentence. He is accused of abuse of position of an employee of a commercial organization and, by court order, should pay 27 million soms to Alexander Ryabushkin. The defendant called this case political and demanded review of the case upon newly discovered evidence.
