An emergency power outage occurred in Bishkek on a 110-kilovolt power line.
According to preliminary data, around 70 percent of electricity consumers in the capital were left without power. Residents of Chui region, including the city of Kant and the villages of Baytik and Tash-Dobo, were also affected by the blackout.
The outage lasted for about an hour. Electricity supply has now been restored in most districts of Bishkek.
The National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan OJSC said the causes of the outage are currently being investigated.
