Second criminal case initiated against deputy Askarbek Shadiev

The Prosecutor General’s Office initiated one more criminal case against the deputy of the Parliament Askarbek Shadiev. The State Committee for National Security will investigate the case. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.

The former first deputy prime minister is charged with illegal crossing of the state border.

As it was previously reported, Askarbek Shadiev, charged with abuse of office, crossed the river on the border with Tajikistan and flew from Khujand to Moscow.

Askarbek Shadiev is suspected of abuse of office. According to the investigation, as head of the parliamentary committee on international affairs, he provided inaccurate information about $ 30,000 (the Chingiz Aitmatov Prize awarded by IPA CIS). The head of the department of this committee Arsen Zakirov was arrested. Askarbek Shadiev was detained for two months in absentia. He was put on the wanted list.
