710,000 Kyrgyz citizens are in labor migration

About 710,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan are in labor migration. The head of the State Migration Service Medetbek Aidaraliev announced today at a press conference.

At the same time, labor migrants for six months have transferred $ 615.19 million to Kyrgyzstan. Last year, for comparison, this figure was $ 456.2 million. Traditionally, the main part of the labor migrants works in Russia.

As of the beginning of 2017, 106,029 Kyrgyz citizens were in the black list of citizens who were banned from entering Russia. Compared with 2014, their number has decreased by almost 74,000. And for a year it reduced by 4,195 people.

«In most cases, the ban has expired. We participate in court hearings, help our citizens to withdraw from the black list. Up to date, 53,000 people have been included in the list under complex articles. They were deprived of the right to enter Russia through the courts. Other 40,000 committed administrative violations. Half of them can already go to work in Russia," Medetbek Aidaraliev told.
