President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev will visit patients of the National Center of Oncology (NCO) today.
Recall, a year ago — on June 1, 2016 — Almazbek Atambayev together with his wife also attended the children’s department of oncohematology of the NCO. Little patients were then given presents, and the department was provided with material assistance for 5 million soms.
«You asked for help, here’s your certificate. Don’t hesitate, contact us. I will now give you special attention, help… This is not the last help, I promise that I will find the means for department," the president said then.
The money was planned to be spent for renovation of the building.
«There will be a separate intensive care and surgery unit, as well as equipment and medicines," the head of the department said.
Today, the head of state will talk with the children and check what repairs were carried out in the department.
The International Children’s Day is marked every year on June 1.
