Bishkek City Court left the leader of Ata Meken party Omurbek Tekebayev in custody until May 25. The decision was made on May 4.
The deputy of Parliament has already been officially charged. The investigation charges Omurbek Tekebayev and the former Minister of Emergency Situations Duishenkul Chotonov with corruption.
The criminal case was opened on February 25. The politicians were detained the next day. By the decision of the court, the accused were arrested until May 25 with the detention in GKNB pretrial detention center.
