Kyrgyz national football team defeats Macau in Asian Cup qualifier 2019

The national football team of Kyrgyzstan yesterday defeated Macau team in the qualifying match of the Asian Cup 2019.
The match of the first round of the decisive qualifying round took place in the Bishkek city at the D. Omurzakov stadium. Teams from the group A — Kyrgyzstan and Macau met at the football field. Team Macau is one of the weakest in Asia and the world — it takes 184th place in the current FIFA ranking. In the first half, our team had a big advantage, however failed to open the scoring — the goalkeeper of the national team of Macau was excellent. As for the national team of the KR, Valery Kichin and Edgar Bernhardt were the most notable.
In the second half, the hosts continued to squat at the gates of the guests.
At the 70th minute, the captain of the Kyrgyz national team Azamat Baimatov broke through to the opponent’s gates and opened the score with a beautiful kick. This goal remained the only one — 1:0 in favor of the national team of the KR.
In another match of the qualifying group A, the Indian team on a visit with the same score won the team of Myanmar. Thus, after the first round, the teams of India and the KR headed the standings. Kyrgyzstanis will hold the next match on June 13 against the Indians.
The disgusting state of the lawn of the main sports arena of Kyrgyzstan strikes the eye. It seems that the organizers didn’t prepare it for the match, expected by tens of thousands of fans. Although they had two months to prepare, if counted from the date when the national team of the KR voiced the rivals in the group.
