The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan approved the conversion of 24 hectares of irrigated agricultural land in Issyk-Ata district of Chui region for the construction of multi-apartment residential buildings under My Home state housing program.
According to the resolution, the land plot, located in area No. 323 of Uzun-Kyr rural area, will be reclassified from agricultural land to residential land. Housing construction on this territory will be carried out by the State Mortgage Company.
Local authorities have been instructed to amend the land register, ensure the land is used strictly for its intended purpose, and develop urban planning documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
Furthermore, the project must include a rainwater and meltwater drainage system, seismic safety measures, environmental and geological monitoring, compliance with sanitary and environmental standards, and archaeological supervision of construction work in the event that historical and cultural heritage sites are discovered.
If the site is not used for its intended purpose, authorities should take measures to restore it and return the land to agricultural use.
The regulation will come into force in ten days after its official publication.
