President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov today, June 8, opened Asman Residence-1 residential complex, built by the State Mortgage Company in Osh, and also a complex in the village of Zhany-Aryk in Osh region, online.
Congratulating residents of the southern capital on acquiring their own homes, the head of state recalled that during his recent meetings with district residents, housing was one of the most pressing issues raised by the population. He noted that he had also seen this confirmed during meetings between local leaders and citizens in all regions of the country, which were held on his instructions.
«One of the main tasks of the state is to provide citizens in need of housing with affordable and high-quality housing. We’ve always spoken about this, and today our words are backed up by concrete actions: you are witnessing for yourself that housing construction in the republic is proceeding at an unprecedented pace,» Sadyr Japarov said, emphasizing that more than 82,000 apartments are currently being built in all regions of the Kyrgyz Republic under state mortgage programs.
This 12-story residential complex, consisting of eight blocks, contains 543 apartments in total. It will also include underground parking, a playground, commercial space, and other necessary infrastructure. The complex is designed in a modern architectural style and includes landscaping and security for the surrounding area.
Sadyr Japarov noted that, according to the initial plan, construction was scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of this year. However, thanks to the coordinated work of specialists, the facility was built ahead of schedule. Taking the opportunity, the head of state expressed gratitude to the builders, engineers, and staff of the State Mortgage Company for their conscientious work.
Simultaneously with Asman Residence-1, the president opened five apartment buildings online in the village of Zhany-Aryk in Kara-Suu district. In the first phase, apartments were handed over to 225 owners, and the same number will be built by the end of the year.
Furthermore, Sadyr Japarov emphasized significantly strengthening oversight and strict supervision of construction work on site.
Speaking about the recent leaky roof in a residential complex in Karakol, he called on all residents of multi-story buildings to take care of their homes and not clog sewer and drain pipes with debris.
«We don’t deny that there are shortcomings. This is not to say that everything is perfect. Wherever work is carried out, certain flaws inevitably arise. However, over time, everything will be corrected and improved,» the head of state emphasized.
In this context, he noted that for 30 years, the state built virtually nothing on its own. Only in the last five years have roads, multi-story residential buildings, and other facilities begun to be actively built independently.
«Of course, comments, criticism, and suggestions from citizens regarding construction quality will be considered. All identified deficiencies will be corrected. The State Mortgage Company should take this into account,» Sadyr Japarov stated.
He then handed over the first apartment keys to an Osh resident. He then inspected the apartments and the residential complex’s infrastructure.
