Kyrgyz athletes representing the country’s motorsport community showed an outstanding performance at the Can-Am Rally Kazakhstan 2026. The Federation of Auto and Motorcycle Sports and Road Safety of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Vladimir Smirnov, Sanzhar Beishenov, and Edil Mukambetov swept the podium in the second stage of the competition in the ATV 4×4 category.
During the first stage of the series, Kyrgyzstan’s representatives also ranked among the top performers. Bakyt Abykeev won a gold medal.
Kyrgyz motorcycle racers also secured two podium finishes at the first stage of the SOKOL SBK Cup KZ circuit racing championship held last weekend. Vyacheslav Gusser took first place in the Supersport category, while Anton Dudov claimed silver in the Superbike category.
The first stage of the open motogymkhana championship was also held in Almaty on June 28, bringing together participants from various regions. Kyrgyzstan was represented by two athletes. Adilkhan Mamakeev delivered a strong performance, taking third place in the motorcycle class up to 400 cubic centimeters, while Sanzhar Beishenov also won bronze.
